|It was a dark and stormy day at Sault Ste Marie. We got a very brief look at the rapids and at the locks that the big boats use to get around them. No pictures. Maybe next time. (Sault is the French word for jump or the rapids in a river.)|

A few years ago, on a stormy night...

|On the other side of the bridge we looked into Lake Huron and saw a big freight boat headed north towards the Soo.|
